Go

Horrible people living horrible lives. It might have worked if it had reached its sought-after Tarantino territory, but this is no Pulp Fiction; there isn't enough humor and wit to redeem it.

Pay It Forward

Nice story, mostly well-acted (though Kevin Spacey briefly overacts--uncharacteristically), and with an interesting central premise that can set you to thinking about matters far beyond the bounds of this film. Worth a look.

Small Soldiers

I saw this one a while back, and I don't remember much about it. I recall thinking it was OK, that the effects were kind of neat, the story wasn't bad…but it's all pretty vague. Can't really recommend, but can't really pan it either. You're on your own here.

Picture Perfect

Fluffy like a teddy bear. That's not always bad, of course; just don't expect much beyond plain, warm snugglies. Jennifer Aniston does a decent job here, as in several of her other movies; get that girl away from that Friends tripe and there she may have a real career.
