A tough call. There's a dramatic story here; several, in fact, and
that's part of the issue. The movie careens all over the map. Is it a
tale of one man's return from disaffection? Of a poor family's struggle
to make it in an urban nightmare? Of caring in the midst of chaos? Of
workers striving for fair treatment? It's sort of all those things,
which causes the film to lose focus several times. However, the movie
does maintain interest even through a long running time. Probably worth a
look.
